Help

Post by Ralf » 18 Apr 2010 01:10

Hi Guys,

I can't understand one bit of Swedish, that why this message is in English. I could use some help. I myself are I fixie enthusiast from Holland (Breda to be precise), I'm going to visit Stockholm In a few weeks for 3 days. So I was wondering If you all have some tips regarding the following 2 questions:
- Are their any cool shops with fixedgear related stuff in Stockholm
- I'm looking for a nice place to spend those 2 nights, I've found some hotels but they are not so exiting (and pretty expensive), so do you know a nice place? Hotel, Apartment, BB, whatever.

Thanks for the help!

Grtz Ralf

There was a store called ODD-number but it just recently closed down its business.
Then theres another store called Tandem but Im not sure if they are, or will, open this season.

Upon that theres a "regular" store called CykelCity and yet another called Cykloteket. They store some FG items, and frames and factory made bikes etc In the Old Town theres a store called "G:a Stan Cykel", they are more into vintage/touring stuff.

Cycling is not that big in Sweden Compared to Holland... We just got our first Velodrome here since the 20´s. The velodrome is located in Falun, 2-3hrs north of STHLM.

Regarding Hostel/BB etc...
