Second in row in Malmö then:

More so, that "virgin model" looks just like a repainted conversion. Do you have plenty of exactly the same frame in stock? Just curious because I don't really understand the model concept. Anyhow - good luck!

Welcome,

Not sure if this is the right place to introduce a service/product like this.
No hate on your idea or commitment in it but i'd say most of the people here are a bit tired of conversions fitted with budget parts and then sold for hefty money.

And regarding that saddle. The top should be horizontal.

Wrong saddle angle here and it's straight to the Guillotine.

I wish you all the luck but for that money you will have a hard time competing with the already existing alternatives, as you could get a complete decent quality Trackbike/Fixieskidder for less.

Correct, its a old Reynolds frame that was rescued, cleaned up & powdercoated sourced from a sad, depressed & retired bicycle! Sustainability is key :D

I have never heard of Urban Cycles, they do seem to have sold some lovely examples however :)

The #001 Creme Fresh is a one off so it will not be reproduced again.

Hello and welcome to Sweden!

Very nice to get old frames up and running again! :)

Edit: Some of the other companies have own threads for their stuff in the "Köp och Sälj"-part of the forum. Maybe that is a good place for you to find customers aswell?

Clearly a Mayfly whose life last about a day...very funny

We have decided to retract everything from the forum after a very cold/unprofessional welcome and a very ignorant private message from a member.

Belonging to many classic car forums in the past, I guess I should have expected some of that kind of attitude. Shame really

Sorry to hear that.

I don't know how new you are to building bicycles, but my initial thoughts were that you're just yet another guy who sees an oportunity to make some money out of this fixie trend, by repainting old frames and fitting them with the cheapest parts available and then offer them as cool colorful custom bicycles.

If you would've been restoring these old frames to their former glory and fitting them with period correct parts OR just using 'better' parts for your fixie conversions i think the reaction here would have been very different.

Unfortunately this is quite a nerdy community where some people actually care about what brand their pedal straps are or even what grease they use.

Quite a few threads have ended like this..

No I completely agree with what you say...its just the way some minorities act on first impressions and then bombard you with utter nonsense...nice and welcoming :|

We are not in it to become overnight millionaires and both have stable day jobs, we are just testing the waters to put together some nice unique bikes that are set apart from the normal conventional ones. So if anything...looking for advice on what to do, and what NOT to do...not having our heads bitten off.

This model is our first bike we have actually advertised anywhere... (I should have shown the photos of the bike with the Brookes saddle (horizontally cough), however I chose these ones as they were done with a better camera)

The following below are ones that have already been sold elsewhere...

Just easy to be harsh on the interwebs. Keep it up but remember the saddle angle
