Hi,

I just got this bike the other day and the previous owner did not had the key for the integrated lock (see below)

Is there a way to replace it with a working one?
If not, did anyone tried to remove this piece completely? I would like to get rid of the bulk and weight.

You can remove it, and if you can find a replacement also replace it, I've seen it on YouTube. Google away.

I tried to google that with no success. Probably because I do not know what's the name for that type of lock. Tried "integrated lock" and others around that with no success. :/

expensive but they got what you need. they can most likeley remove the old one for you too.
