Changing my track hub

Post by Freeza » 24 Apr 2016 00:11

I have a bad track hub, and want to replace it with a brand new I got on ebay but I do not have the skill nor the tools to make it right.

Do you guys know a place to go? My friend Alex mentioned there's someone around here that likes to make wheels as well.

Let me know if you have any tips!

These guys did a great job with my wheels, not too expensive either.
(Think it was Phil that built them)

fwiw i used sheldon instead of skill and a spoke wrench from biltema to build my first wheels. they're still round, straight and stiff after five years.

I'll have a look at the guide... but I suppose you have to have the right tools to check the roundness and spoke tension?

Ghetto style truing can be done (rough) with caliper brakes as guideline (or clever tape usage)

I would however recommend leaving carbon rims to a professional. I have no idea what "error margins" it can handle.
